Golden Rugs Gallery has been involved in the rug business for three generations, and was established in 1992 in San Diego, California by the Mikaeli family.  

Our mission is to offer the highest quality rugs at the most affordable prices, while at the same time educate our clients on handmade rugs.  
Important topics include understanding the levels of workmanship as well as how rugs differ from one region of the world to another in both quality and design.   

We feel it is essential to inform our clients about various rugs when they purchase a rug, because the more informed the client, the easier it will be to find the right rug for their needs.

Sami Mikaeli, the wife of Houchang Mikaeli is a talented master rug repair specialist. She has committed most of her time in rug making and rug repair.

We are a family business, and our clients are our top priority. Not only are we here to assist our clients but we also work with Interior Designers.  We have a large inventory of rugs from all over the world. We sell, trade and buy rugs.  We also have a great team of professionals who clean and repair your rugs!

Mr.Jason Mikaeli followed his father's footsteps and is the new face of Golden Rugs Gallery.

  As the family patriarch, Mikaeli has devoted much of his life to the rug industry and along the way has educated his son and daughters about the business. Mr.Houchang Mikaeli followed his father's footsteps and started the creation of Golden Rugs Gallery.
